Whats the difference between a crocodile and an aligator?

Ok alligators are found mostly in the United States, while crocodiles are found in South America and Africa. Alligators have more broad snouts while Crocodiles are more narrow. Alligators usually get a bit larger also. There are more scientific way to determine the two but these are simple ways to tell the difference.
