How do i ask a guy to sadies?

so we have a sadie hawkins dance on april 23d.... and i want to ask this one guy. i have liked him for a long time, and i dont have the guts to do it. i want to know a cute, and easy way to ask him to the dance. something in which i wont feel as nervous. he likes skateboarding.. so if i can incorporate that in there too that would be cool. but i need a tension easer.
