How do you tell a person off without acutally telling them off?

am a manager at a local resturant and i have his coworker that is a manager as well. all she does is talk abut people and keep stuff going. she talks about me but when i am there she is all in my face and everything is cool. i know that she is the one with the problem and not me but, i am tired of this. how can i tell her off? what can i do to get the point across to her?i dont want to confront her in her face because i might hurt her feelings. i know that sounds funny , but i am really not that kind of person.
