You can wash the shaft and the gl base in hot soapy water, just make sure you let it dry really well before using it. You need to buy pipe cleaners to ream out the hose, and any other small ,sticky parts. Once its clean and your own resin, you can just clean it when it affects the taste or getting clogged .
