Are Gordon Brown's days as PM now numbered as he appears to be an unelectable leader?

I think the Labour Party are going to get the long knives out for Gordon after the worst showing at a local election for 40 years. He's never won an election in his own right, and now it looks like he'll be an albatross around their neck if they keep him as leader for the next general election. Time to give someone younger and less tainted by the Blair years a chance I think.
